Cotinus Coggygria
In stock
Description
This is without a doubt one of the most attractive of summer-flowering shrubs with flowers which are pinkish-coloured, feather-like inflorescences, produced in profusion in June and July, and resembling puffs of smoke, all set amidst long rounded oval leaves which change to all sorts of bright colours in the autumn. A worthy RHS 'AGM' Award Winner
Sowing Advice
Seeds have already been thoroughly cleaned and cold-stored for several months. Sow into well-drained, sandy compost at any time of year, cover to their own depth with sand or grit. No artificial heat is needed; seed tray is best left in a cool protected spot and kept moist. Seeds usually germinate in spring, regardless of when sown.
